Re: Confessions
Riku, I snuck into your house last night and ate all of your cookies.
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.
Re: Confessions
I wreck things I like on purpose for no reason.

That was intended as a subtle hint about your mother, but nevermind.Tales wrote:Yeah, don't worry - I don't know if I'd ever try weed in Amsterdam (or anywhere else) because I'd be too worried haha.Syobon wrote:Also Tales, they really don't appreciate people coming in without buying anything. I don't know what you think you found. there's nothing to eat in this house.

um well that went over my head like most things on AZ and I still don't know what you're on about so i'll just do my usual trick of laughing it off, haha.Syobon wrote:That was intended as a subtle hint about your mother, but nevermind.Tales wrote:Yeah, don't worry - I don't know if I'd ever try weed in Amsterdam (or anywhere else) because I'd be too worried haha.Syobon wrote:Also Tales, they really don't appreciate people coming in without buying anything. Anywho, I'm not sure if my phobias seem to change. One moment I don't like spiders and now I seem to have found a new sort of fear - the fear of being stuck. Like, I don't think it's claustrophobia but when I was on the bouncy castle with my friends and it was really hot and we leant to one side and I kept falling over and when I did it was really hard to get up and I kept getting dragged down I didn't like that, so I guess it's more worried about not being able to control my body.

Re: Confessions
Phobias are irrational fears. Being scared of spiders does not classify as a proper phobia. A person with arachnophobia would flip the fuck out when brought into contact with a spider, they would start hyper ventilating, could get arrhythmias and even enter full out shock or pass out. They could even experience the same symptoms from seeing a spider from a safe distance or even on video. In the most extreme cases, even thinking about spiders could cause great distress. Of course there are gradations, but a phobia is more than being scared of something. They also rarely go away on their own.

I find it difficult to think of anything I'm afraid of.
I'm certainly not afraid of any animal.

For me, I have an irrational fear of going blind

I don't like spiders or snakes, but the only phobia I have is heights. Just on a second floor building, I can't look out a window without my heartrate spiking.
Now I'm wondering if I should tell the hang glider story.

No, I'm afraid of heights. The falling is corollary. I'm afraid of heights in situations where falling is a statistical impossibility.

Same.
The thought of falling down, just waiting for death is intimidating.

Hydrophobia. It's really bad, too. Haven't been swimming since I was eight.
