I mean, if someone dubbed a comic I made, I would be all like "Oh hey, that's pretty awesome".
Inform me of the situation.
The dub got taken down the first time and the guy got to keep his account.
When he submitted it a second time regardless of my objections - again refusing to credit me AND insulting me directly - YouTube (not me) decided to close that account (note that I didn't ask YouTube to close his account - they were following their own rules and regulations).
Also note that there are other voiceovers of my comics on YouTube which I have left alone because those users have had decency to credit me.
I mean really, it's not difficult to credit the person who's work you're editing/dubbing - and it's common decency to acknowledge the person who's work you're borrowing, right?
Also the idiot in question has another secondary account that I am fully aware of, but he and his cronies/supporters lost a lot of their original accounts on numerous sites because they wouldn't let this go - and for some reason that escapes me they got it into their heads that they were the victims and had every right to insult me, threaten me, blah, blah, blah...
Honestly, if the original author doesn't want you to do something you don't do it - otherwise you get burned because the original author is the copyright holder, and no amount of bitching will change that; If people want internet fame they need to do their own original work - voiceovers are a lazy-booty cheap way of getting internet fame - especially for people who aren't prepared to credit the original authors of the work they are voicing.
The guy and a number of his supporters showed themselves up for the assclowns that they were when they started a backlash against me - some of them payed for it - but don't feel sorry for them - from what I experienced, they had no respect, no decency - and no responsibility when it came to using the internet.
So no, I'm sorry but don't want people voicing over my work.
