When I'm emotionally distressed, there are two routes it can take. The better one of them makes me grow a weird sense of confidence and motivation, which in turn often makes me draw a lot and work hard on pictures, resulting in me producing my best artwork. Pretty much the same effect when I'm agitated or nervous about stuff, both the good and bad kind.
So clearly the key for me to become a good artist is to become emo first (or get in situations where I'm permanently under emotional stress).

I wish I could draw regularly and also produce good artwork when I'm feeling fine bawww
It's like some weird subconscious reaction for self-therapy, or to keep me from going insane. I swear, eventually I'll end up like Edvard Munch.
