We are like brothers. I know bugs are harmless, but the thought of them touching me drives me insane.

It's about a teenager whose arm is a magical weapon against demons called Akuma. Story starts out pretty nicely with the audience learning of how Akuma are created when someone dies and wishes them back, where the demon kill the summoner and takes their form. The ones who fight them are Exorcists who wield the magic weapons, called Innocence. Very religious-based.

The only problem is the creator went insane a couple years back, and has had episodes on and off. This does not do wonders for the plot. She went off the deep end again recently and completely clusterfucked everything.

So if you do decide to read/watch it, stop after Allen fights Miki with Crown Clown.

That's like saying if you're watching Bleach, just stop watching after they come back from Soul Society and assume everything worked out.

Not really. Bleach was very linear in the power upgrades and plot.

D.Gray Man they just stated in the course of a single chapter, after hundreds of previous contradicting ones, that Innocence is evil and the Earl (who they've been fighting) might not be such a bad guy after all.

Bleach did not take its plot and skullfuck it into oblivion with no prior setup whatsoever. The equivalent would be them finding their swords were forged from orphan tears and flesh and the Hollows were bravely fighting against these sinister weapons.

I would probably have to actually watch D.Gray Man to find a proper metaphor.

That arc is the best part by far of Bleach though.

Of course it is, everything afterward is just a clusterfuck of bullshit.

D. Gray man manga is about 200 + chapters and makes zero sense. The action panels are difficult to read and i like the bad guys more than the good guys.

The anime is crappy and takes forever to progress but it doesnt matter because it still makes no sense.
