There is very little music I don't like. I don't have any preference whatsoever with music. Lately I've been listening to more Indie/50's Jazz because my driver really only listens to those though. He is turning pretty hipster.

I am being myself though. That's the thing. I like hipster stuff and indie... everything, and I always have.

I realized this about two days ago; when I was in middle school, people would ask what my favorite band was. I'd reply with one of my random underground ones, and, in response to their blank stare or polite nod, I'd say, "I's okay. They're pretty underground. You probably haven't heard of them."

I have long hair and I don't want to cut them, even though everyone tells me they look bad. I don't care about fashion and I hate going shopping, even though everyone buys lots of expensive clothes "because they are popular". My iPod is full of The Megas/The Protomen ("Who the fuck are those?"), Caparezza ("Fabri Fibra is better!"), YGOTAS ("You have strange tastes"), Homestuck ("WHO?!") and Queen ("Freddy Mercury is lame and gay and so are you"). I'm really proud of my music though, because while everyone listens to "Futuristic Rap" (Fabri Fibra) I get "You aren't the state" . I translated a part of those two songs' lyrics to compare them.

As you can read, the first song is just meaningless gibberish, while the second one is a song about our shitty, corrupt and fascist government.
Note that every person I know has the first song on his Mobile phone/iPod/whatever and regards the second one as lame and/or boring
