Mine was an Eevee. Or a horse. Or sometimes a dragon.

...Didn't we have this conversation before?

I did that with my fingers. Grinding on rails, bouncing off street lights and cars, and getting smacked by building walls.

Every single time. I would have twice as many posts if I actually posted all of what I type.

I remember I would do this all the time. Mainly on the bus ride to school.

And I remember the forum was different for like five minutes after I joined, and then it changed to how it is now.

I do that pretty much every single time I'm in a car.

I never did that when I was on car rides.

I did imagine how much faster it would be to get to places if I could fly, but I never imagined myself as Superman, rather as a robot with jet-rocket legs and/or wings.

I've always identified more with robotic heroes than human ones - but that's probably down to Optimus Prime being one of the biggest role models in my life.

When in the 'Science' or 'TT' threads I must confess that I find reading Syobon's posts hard work sometimes because he uses a lot of scientific terminology that I'm not familiar with on an everyday basis. I appreciate that he's intelligent and well versed in certain sciences, but I don't think he realises that if people can't readily grasp what you're trying to say it's hard to perpetuate a conversation.

When I talk about science and heavy duty subjects I try to make the conversation accessible to more readers by talking in layman's terms where possible, but I appreciate it's difficult to do this all the time when speaking about heavy-duty sciences and such.

Oh, waitaminute, this isn't the 'Bluntly' thread is it?

Well DND, now that you're here anyway, I'd like to say I enjoyed discussing with you as well.

As for the scientific terminology, now you've put me on a difficult spot. I can either try to make my posts short and summarised, and assume you'll interpret them the way I intended, or I can explain everything in layman's terms. Both are difficult to combine.

Especially in the science thread with the black hole discussion, I had to explain something about one of the most difficult subjects in science, and I'm still a student myself, so I have to think pretty hard about anything I say, without knowing how much foreknowledge or education you had. I'm also used to discussing these things with other people with (basic) scientific educations.

Also, my English isn't that great, and I struggle to keep my posts flowing naturally sometimes, which can make them harder to read.

I'll try to look up layman words for scientific terminology in the future though. What I also can do is post a short and summarised post at first and then I can explain the things which aren't clear if you ask for them. Of course this is a bit of a tedious way to go around it :/. I'm open to any suggestions about how I should make my posts though.

Oh whoops, where's the Bluntly thread?

You know how in video games you save spectacular and powerful items for special occasions or whatever but never end up using them? I do that in real life, with candy. I've still got that gigantic lollipop I got a few months ago.
