I don't read many books since I have trouble reading. I'll always space out and contemplate something the text reminded me of, even if the thing I'm contemplating isn't really related to the text. Like how one time I was reading a book about cooking and started contemplating game theory for some reason.

Honestly, I'm kinda worried about losing a large chunk of my watchers on dA if I go ahead and say I don't really want to do one-shot funny webcomics anymore.

However, it's those same watchers who are like a monkey on my back making me feel like I HAVE to make one-shot funny webcomics.

This is the vicious circle that I've been stuck in for the past year or two; It's also led to me having a dA gallery that doesn't feel like it belongs to me.


Wow. Typing things out loud really does help to clarify things sometimes.

You should not care that much of watchers when you are still in a phase where you haven't found your "call" yet. Investigate different possibilities and use the watchers you already have by asking their opinions on whatever you're doing. "Follow your heart etc".

It should be you who give to your fans; not your fans taking from you.

I feel like I need some time off from submitting anything tbh - so I can take a time out, reassess, focus on my OC stuff, and - when I'm good and ready - come back and submit something meaningful.

Maybe I should just make a journal saying that.

Journals are only useful for self-understanding, and if you need to write your shit down to do so. If you can talk to yourself and understand yourself and question yourself without the use of a pen, then just forget about it.
But if you do need it, please, Ann Frank wrote a journal, why wouldn't you ?

Aaaaaanyway you shouldn't give a fuck about anyone that watches what you create : you have to figure that there's only one person who looks at what you do : YOURSELF, and you've got to please that daisies audience.
I mean you have to do stuff you would enjoy if you were the audience, not the artist. That'll make stuff easier and, actually, even better, 'cause that'll truly be YOUR stuff.

I am amazed easily, like when we went to Otterspool when it was sunny I was like "oh my god it used to be snowing here a few months ago ahhhhh" and my friends were like "Yes george it's called the SEASONS" so I said "yes i know but it's still amazing, I mean, now its warm and the earth has moved dfghjkl!".

I'm also amused easily, like before in the shower I found out when you sort of tilt you head up and breathe in it feels funny so I just stood there for like 5 minutes breathing heavily ahahahahaah.
