If you absolutely have to be a dick to someone who died recently, at least don't do it in a place that people have told you not to do it in twice.

Lambeth, I'll ask that you don't compare Thatcher to a (fictional) space dictator that caused the death of many. It's idiotic.
Since you cannot be decent in this thread, I regret to have to ask you all to stop talking about Margaret Thatcher's death here.
Marcato, we will also do without posts that add nothing to the discussion.
edit: lol i was a dumbass back then huh fuck thatcher

World politics are such a bizarre dance. North Korea threatens everyone around it, while knowing that such an attack is tantamount to suicide, because it shows their leader's "strength." South Korea declares that any sort of conflict will be met with brutal retaliation, even though North Korea would seize on the excuse to launch full warfare, because it shows their leader's "strength." Meanwhile the USA, who very likely could utterly destroy North Korea's ability to fight back and pre-emptively neutralize it, has to try mollifying the equivalent of a childish tantrum because the previous action would be stepping over a global line, no matter how called for it is. China simultaneously scolds North Korea while trying to talk it down, despite holding just as much ability to do what the US could to them before they could react.
Logic doesn't seem to matter much on the world stage.

No more NK news (although tomorrow is their cutoff for guaranteed protection for embassies, so things are sure to get interesting very quick), but I found this and I thought it was very amusing.
For the second year in a row, EA has won the Golden Poo Award and named the worst company in America, beating out Bank of America (also for the second year in a row).

And a secret cabal of conservatives too.
Watching the entirety of 4chan unite in hate against a single entity was pretty inspiring tho.

Lol at nerds so detached from reality they can say EA is the worst company in America.

Nobody actually believes EA is the worst company of America, but they're probably the only ones actually affected by the results since their consumerbase for a large part overlaps with internet-users likely to hear about that poll. Also 4chan thinks it's funny to fix internet polls.

And do we have missile defenses in SK? Assuming they don 't launch one at us, everyone else is still in danger.

China and NK, as far as I know, are still buddybuddy, but KJU's current, well,
episode may change that.
