Everybody stop freaking out over the election. Romney won't win, you have nothing to fear.

The real issue is whether Facepunch or SA is a bigger shithole

Great!!
You fulfilled your mission. It will revive peace in America. But it may be invaded by the other Mittroid. Pray for a true peace in America!

The next election game will be out 4 years from now. Or less if you play the Governor spinoff.

No, it was a dream. Mitt Romney really won and the planet is already in chaos.
Re: The Current Events Thread
I heard that Puerto Rico is finally petitioning to become a state instead of just one of America's colonies or whatever we call them so we don't feel like Britain. It's about time. I'm not comfortable with ruling, taxing and controlling another country but denying them rights and representation (hmm that sounds familiar, almost like someone rebelled over something like it before...)
Re: The Current Events Thread
So suspicious that a game just came out directly about a colony forming it's own country because they were taxed without representation...
...not really, this has probably been a thing for a long booty time, but it's just now getting out because elections are over.

Puerto Rico's been trying a long time. Hasn't succeeded yet.
Stuff goes here later.

Re: The Current Events Thread
It was a referendum they just voted on.
Looking at the previous times this was attempted, yesterday's election showed that wishes for Statehood are higher in Puerto Rico than previously, now it just needs to go through Congress and Obama.

Re: The Current Events Thread
yeah, Puerto Rico has been voluntarily staying a colony for a while I think? Something to do with commerce.
This is gonna mess up our flag something awful, though.
