I'm sorry that you don't like talking about her, it's just you're my closest friend and I don't know what to do. I'd prefer to get a woman's perspective on these things, and you are the only one I trust enough to ask. It's not like it was her fault, right? Nothing even happened between them, but I'm sorry she upsets you so much. I'll just sit here in self doubt now, as usual.

I know this is awkward but you have no idea how much I miss you.

Just the few things you've said have liberated me so much.

Why are you so dead set on hating people who have LASIK surgery? You give it to your own pilots! I used the guy who PIONEERED it for your pilots! My vision has been a perfect 20/20 for three years without changing, I passed your color blindness test, and passed everything else. I don't even just want a plain old enlistment job, I want to be a Nuke! You know, the job only the best and brightest of the Navy can do, since it involves nuclear physics? But you don't care do you. Even if the Nuke people already like me, even if my paperwork is all in order, even if I spent an entire day starting before the crack of dawn doing your physical tests, the instant you saw the word LASIK in my file you decided I was disqualified.

Well fuck you. I'm not giving up. There's a chance I can get a waiver, though the odds might not be good. But I'll get it. There's no reason for me not to. Trying thinking logically about some things, you're supposed to be one of the more intelligent branches of the Armed Forces. You didn't like me when my eyesight was bad, and you don't like me now that it's perfect.

You all disgust me. Getting drunk over the weekend and being a bunch of idiots on the computer and talking about me behind my back, you don't realize I've been reading everything you say.
