Because stem cell research is "unnatural."
This is amazing news. So all you have to do is completely rip out your immune system and replace it with one that is specifically HIV-resistant.

I wasn't sarcastic about it being great news. I
was being sarcastic about the procedure I suggested. Although my shortened version isn't so much incorrect as it is incredibly simplified.

Hmmmm, on the other hand, maybe we need to start researching ways to fight overpopulation.
I know there's not going to be any serious discussion on that topic, since it generally involves killing people.
