So at the risk of sounding like a total geek, I am a newbie cosplayer myself. Recently I just went to Otakon dressed as the Brawl version of Sheik for the Zelda photoshoot on Saturday. Here's some great photos from the lovely Henrickson of Consplayers.com:









This was my first cosplay, and it was certainly an ambitious project! I debuted it at New York Comic Con last year, but Otakon is probably going to be Sheik's last con simply because I would like to move on to other cosplays. Also, don't mind how I'm falling apart there. Posing as Sheik is hard
