The darkness instantly subsided and she no longer felt as is she was floating. She landed on the ground just inches below her and right in front of Zeion. As she was reorienting to the sudden gravity she noticed the scenery around her. They were standing in a small field surrounded by some trees with a creek running to the side. She looked at the trees and then noticed that behind her was a beach and an ocean and many many palm trees. Rennega stood in awe as she looked around, for the trees, both palm and otherwise, were enormous. Some of them seemed to be at least hundreds of years old. And then she noticed the sky, well, the parts she could see anyway. There were floating islands here and there of varying sizes with some of them held together by from what she could tell giant chains.

She stood there with an expression of utter disbelief. "I... This... It's just... incredible."

The silence was broken by a buzz-saw's humming, which also ceased after a moment. It's wielder, a small robot, looked at the now still horror surrounding it. "...unexpected."

Rend stared Barmakog down. "Ground is closed for business."

Barmakog's grin turned to an annoyed frown as he stepped forward, swinging his arm in a wide arc on a collision coarse with Rend, but as the "Titan" slammed an open palm into the ground beneath his feet, the earth rose from below Barmakog's arm, forming a hand even larger than Barmakog's, which grabbed onto Rend's attacker, halting his momentum.

Rend rose his free hand into the air, formed a fist, then stopped to look at the now snared Barmakog.

"I'm the Reaper of Earth. She is my weapon. She is my armor. She is your end."

As Rend's fist struck the ground, it's enormous copy erupted from beneath Barmakog, sending him flying back into the same building he had collided with the first time.

Rend rose to his feet and wiped the earth from his hands as Barmakog steadied himself against the wreckage of the building with the same grin he had worn as he strangled Rend.

"So your planet's female, eh? You know what that means?"

Rend continued to stare at his opponent, who began to cackle hysterically. Suddenly, the laughter stopped and his face displayed only malice.

"IT MEANS SHE'S MINE."

Barmakog's Ravaging Path

After his nefarious sneer, Barmakog drew in a gust of air from the opening in his thick, fleshless ribcage's cracks, and let out a shockwave with the power of his roar. The roar had thrown Rend into stumbling back and holding his head from the powerful sound. It was then Barmakog began his crazed, wicked laugh again as he had giant roots slithering from his arms and poking into the ground and digging like worms. They submerged themselves far down into even the hard, stone-like earth. Barmakog then pulled the vines to the side outward to open a hole of infinite depth and darkness, almost like a canyon, below Rend's feet. From the darkness came the corrupt, gargantuan and dark purple vines that existed below as would a pit of snakes. They caught Rend in his descent like a net, but only to squeeze, twist, and pull him down.

"Hehahahaha! Maybe you and your woman will get to know each other better in the afta-life! So long suckar!, Barmakog looked down and gestured a mockery of a departing salute.

However, before he could turn away, Rend rocketed upward with the earth raising him from the pit; the vines all torn from his escape. With that, a high powered, flying uppercut (SHORYUKEN!) carried Barmakog's jaw and the rest of him a few feet into the air. Barmakog's lower, monstrous "underbite" jaw's teeth was shoved over and into the middle of his face. Barmakog was still trying to get back up from the punch as he tried desperately to get his lower jaw back down in it's place.

"Mm-muver...vucker!", the wretched thing mumbled with his immobile mouth.

Rend took this chance to keep an onslaught going as he reached unaffected land; his fists hitting Barmakog's face back and forth, then moving on to his ribs to make two prominent cracks. Barmakog then reached to an underused tool of his: The capsule that held Renisca; her body twisted not long ago with her own power with a machine by Entemo'at himself. Barmakog pushed Rend away as he pulled the sphere capsule from the cocoon of vines that were on his backside, then pulled it out like a torch to keep Rend away with it's warped aura. Rend held firm and blocked the aura using his arms' intersection to shield his face.

Things may differ now though, but not by much. To make clear, the aura from Renisca has a telekinetic shield property, so getting close to Barmakog will be difficult.)

(Also, I love the comic that BoN did. It inspires me to do some much needed drawing of my own.)
