Really serious business. My sister might be pregnant and she's still in high school. She took the morning after pill and stuff but it's not certain that it worked. She told me that it happened two days ago. She was supposed to get her period today and she didn't, but it's normally irregular anyway. I'm really worried for her and I'm just waiting around with her until she can get an accurate pregnancy test reading. Does anyone have any advice for this? I'm kind of freaking out.

There are holes in this story so it's hard to give you advice. But my first and foremost piece of advice is it's been less than a week. Advise her to stay calm, and just wait a week for her period. It might just be late. OR...

It takes three months for the pill to start working, at least. Everyone's body is different. Was she STRICTLY (as in, whatever her dosage is. For me, it was every single day except the final week of every month) taking it for three months beforehand? Because if not, no, it more than likely didn't work. Missing even one day can fuck everything up so it doesn't work. But if she only missed a day AFTER being on it for three months, there's a pretty good chance she's not pregnant. However, missing a day can also make your period late, or even mean you don't have a period that month entirely. She might be freaking out prematurely.

This. It's been three days. If you KNOW Plan B gives you irregular periods, then I'd be waiting at LEAST a week before I start panicking. And if her periods are always irregular...well yeah I wouldn't start worrying just yet. She needs to stay calm about it; stressing about it will only make it worse as stress can actually hinder your period from coming altogether, even if you are not actually pregnant.

If it still hasn't come within a week I'd go buy like 5 pregnancy tests from the drugstore and use them all (they're still fairly inacurate so multiples usually makes it easier to estimate haha.) If there are more +s then -s...well then you have to decide the big decisions there.

Also, I guess I might as well throw in some advice.
In the future, your cousin may do well to stay a bit more calm about an already irregular period being irregular. Also, I'm not sittn' here tryin' to tell people not to have sex or nothin' I ain't judgin' nobody, but I've always said that the best way to prevent pregnancy is to abstain a bit. There will be plenty of time for sex, but she's gotta coordinate stuff, ya know? Be careful and the like, or yeah, she'll wind up makin' some drastic mistakes.
