Just got home tonight from class and found parents' room with the door closed, but the cats still wandering around. Bit puzzled but I work on gathering together my dinner. Then dad walks out in his robe and I suddenly realized why the door was closed. I wish I didn't.

anway yeah re: boobies i mostly do the same. sometimes i take it off before sleeping because i have bad backpain and sports bras just press on my back too much, but i cant do it if im actually out and about

Hah, it kind of amuses me that dA is seen as the source of all evil here. Sure, there's some weird stuff on there, but most of it is just badly drawn and therefore a little sad. There is much, much worse stuff out there /d/.

It prevents my breasts from sagging to the sides when I lay down. I hate my breasts flopping about. It is infinitely more comfortable to sleep wearing a bra than going without (trust me, I've tried). If it means it's worn out a bit faster, I don't really mind.

Besides, most of my bras have been under-wired and I am phasing them out for sports bras, or any bra that doesn't have an under-wire and adjustable straps (honestly, adjustable straps are horrible). Thus far, my bras have only become worn out and/or unusable due to the under-wire poking out of the fabric, or because the fabric under the strap adjusters has become so worn out that the adjusters can't hold their place and are unable to provide any support. Once those adjusters go, that under-wire is just weighing down my breasts. That feeling is the worst.

All-in-all the bras I'm starting to accrue don't wear out as easily anyway, so wearing them at night works very nicely. I save the silky, thin-strapped fancy stuff for special times. Function before fashion any day.

EDIT: Actually there was a time where I went without a bra when sleeping for a weekend, and it was okay, but I had someone with me so I was too comfortable to care about boobage. When I am alone it bothers me to no end.

Use duct tape instead so you can prevent tape from becoming undone while you sleep.
