Just go for it, Angie. Screw the consequences. If they don't care for your sexual orientation, that's their problem. If you wanna tell 'em, tell 'em. At least, that's my two cents. Not saying to be rude about it or anything. I know you're on good terms with your parents and stuff. Just... tell them, if you really want to.

This diet tea I started drinking has given me horrific diarrhea. It sucks, mostly because there was cool out of the house stuff planned and I don't get out often, so having to miss out on that sucks. (I say this as my mom and brother are out grocery shopping. Hopefully I don't have to go again when they come back.)

A lot of the diet stuff like that is actually designed to flush your system, so it's probably working as intended. Peppermint and ginger teas, among others, have that effect. It cleanses your digestive system, and it's actually more healthy for you than it seems.

I never drink diet soda. If you're not obese or suffering from diabetes, normal soda is probably healthier since the sugar replacement they use, aspartaam, gives you cancer.

Tea is great for doing that but diet tea

not so much
For example, many dieter's teas contain senna, a stimulant that causes the nervous system of the gut to release neuropeptides (nerve proteins that regulate and link our body systems). These promote defecation by increasing movement of the gut or stimulating fluid secretion. Long-term use of stimulants such as senna may deplete the gut of these neuropeptides and ultimately lead to worsening of long-term constipation.
I feel awful seeing my diabetic cousin drink that diet soda stuff. I need to find some alternatives for the guy :I

Oh shit, that's a specific thing? Whoops. I thought it was more of a general term for the teas that are good for dieting instead of one particular brand.

Yea America is super into the whole diet soda and diet tea thing.

I don't understand diet tea though. Like you said, by itself is great for dieting.

It depends on how much he drinks, one glass a day probably isn't going to give him cancer. I don't really know how bad diet soda is really, I just prefer regular soda since I'm at no risk of diabetes.

He drank it pretty often last time I saw him. My grandmother got him a whole case of diet soda.

Haha
Not the stuff you buy bottled at the store.
That stuff is just sugar water with some tea flavor in it.

Loose leaf is the way to go, baby.

Sun tea as well. That stuff is delicious. Especially during the warm weather. Man, I used to drink that all the time over the summer.
