If you ask me, this sums up as

"Give DA cheddar so you can give away favs to people in a different form. Oh, and you can buy stuff with those points... but you'll need a lot first.
So give us cheddar"

dA members have to pay for points, then they can give them to people they like or something.

Points can be redeemed for stuff or given to other dA members.

I don't know if I get it, or that I like it.
Eh, it doesn't look like something I'll get for myself or ever expect to get from anyone.

Actually it's a clever idea... they probably thought "With so many people in our community who just fling around favs and whatnot, we could make some profit from it... oh yes, let's wrap it up in a reward system, and cover it even more with some fancy words!"

It'd be a nice experiment. I'd like to see where it goes, for shits and giggles more than anything.

I say do it.

it should be an emo sonic oc and we could just draw a few slightly above-average pieces of sonic fanart and whore the account out a lot and then once some drama erupts we can pretend to commit suicide/leave dA forever and then come back to my house and have pizza

I'd rather not come back to your house. Unless, of course, you desire a fiery death.
