same. teaching an over-hyperactive 7 year-old discipline could not be more futile. no idea why my parents thought that would go well.
though I did win a couple trophies at a tournament olol
what a joke
I saw a juvenile judo match once. I didn't see most of it, but it ended up with both competitors rolling on top of each other crying while adults tried to get them to separate. Funniest thing I've ever seen.
My best buddy learnt judo some years ago, but broke his left clavicle and scapula and had to stop. A friend of mine did aikido, and another one is practising Sambo.
Also my father was a karateka in his youth. He once broke the jaw of a guy who was trying to steal his car. With a roundhouse kick. :awesome:
I was knew a girl whose dad was a black belt in karate, I believe, so in college he would kick shoe prints into the ceiling to make it look like someone had been walking on the ceiling.
