Because that one has seen many revivals. Many. Every time two forumites become a thing.
Also 50 pages doesn't seem like much of a fail thread to me if people keep posting in it. If it was a 3 page thread that has been dead for six months that was revived with a "LOL I AGREE" then I would understand your irritation.

I made a sandwich the other day that was Mayo, blue cheese, Havarti cheese, and beef in ciabatta bread. Was pretty delicious.
