I HEARD... that most Americans can't actually find America on a map of the world.Xabyrn wrote:http://home.arcor.de/xelnaga/america-sees-world.jpg
They often point to the biggest continent, which is Eurasia, where Russians and stuff live.
Ahaha!

At least, I certainly hope it's a very small minority.

I personally believe that US americans are unable to do so because uh some people out there in our nation don't have maps and uh I believe that our education such as in south africa and the iraq everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the US should help the US or should help south africa or iraq and the asian countries so they can help build up the future for our children.DoNotDelete wrote:I HEARD... that most Americans can't actually find America on a map of the world.Xabyrn wrote:http://home.arcor.de/xelnaga/america-sees-world.jpg

You know... I always hear people say that...DoNotDelete wrote:I HEARD... that most Americans can't actually find America on a map of the world.

Yet I've never actually met anyone who can't point to America on a map.
As far as I can tell, that statement has about as much truth to it as a Bigfoot sighting.

For what little it's worth, the internet says it's one in five Americans who can't pinpoint America on a map.Karilyn wrote:You know... I always hear people say that...DoNotDelete wrote:I HEARD... that most Americans can't actually find America on a map of the world.

I'd admit that this is probably true of most Britons as well.
To be honest, I find PAGE GETS to more annoying than anything - because I usually have to go back and quote from the previous page for the sake of continuity.
