Just got the book Fang in the Maximum Ride series. Not looking too good so far. Too much romance, not enough asskicking.

Fang?
More like Fag.

Everyone read it.

RIGHT NOW!
Is it as good as The Three Musketeers?
If it is, I'll read it when I'm done with the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide.
Better than the Three musketeers.

Yep.
He can't seem to stop.

In this one, Max seems to have Bella Swan syndrome. She never stops talking about Fang.

FANG THIS

FANG SPARKLES IN THE SUNLIGHT
AND THE MOONLIGHT

James Patterson has a habbit of writing really well for two or three books, but after that, he fucks the series sky high.

Re-reading Marlfox from the Redwall series for nostalgia.

Then I'm definitely reading it

*Begins to speed-read, Johny 5 style.*

Ugh. The first like 3 were AMAZING and then it's like OOPS WAIT I FORGOT TO ADD IN MY YEARLY DOSE OF THE ENVIRONMENT and then he decided to just completely fuck up the cute little romance Fang and Max started in like book 2.

Bah.

I feel naked without a book at my table. Time to go scour my personal library and see if there's not something I've overlooked

I always recommend Discworld.
Always.

Also, the Bartimaeus Trilogy. Best books.

I only started reading Maximum Ride because I read When the Wind Blows and The Lake House which are like a more ~adult~, realistic take on the bird kids (and came before MR) and still like those much better.

Graceling is about this one girl who's 'gifted' with the ability to kill people with her bare hands and crazy stuff like that. It's pretty cool even though I'm only a few pages in. I'm probably going to read most of it next week

Also, I'm still reading The Dragon Heir, which is the best book you will never read.
