We got my cat a Catnip Cigar (sausage) today.

She smelt it before we even got it out of the bag. As soon as she had it, she kept rubbing her face on it while drooling and purring loudly. It got pretty wet with her scent and drool, so we had to dry it out. :3

It was so adorable. She also has a small patch of carpet she likes to sit on, so we rubbed some of the catnip banger on it.

After playing with it (cigar) for the first time, she fell asleep on that bit of carpet, totally zonked out. :3

Does catnip actually get cats high? Because I hear that a lot and it would make that so much funnier if it was true

yes. Or the reverse if the cat is already hyper (I think it calms them down <:3 ) that's what the guy at the till said anyway

It's like getting drunk.

You have silly drunks, who roll around and giggle.

And you have the mean drunks who beat the shit out of everyone who gets too close.

Two of my cats, Toby and Caramel, are silly drunks.

The other one, Sprinkles, is a mean drunk.

We got these funny box things you pour the catnip in and they can sit and lay on the box and try and dig the catnip out but they can't. Toby and Caramel roll around on the boxes. Sprinkles does that, but if anyone, be it cat, rolling ball, or your foot, gets too close, she aims to kill.

No.

And the rest of my post didn't imply that I did.

Catnip is a mild hallucinogen for most cats. It even works as a sedative for humans, but you would actually have to eat it. A lot of it. I don't imagine it tastes good. I wonder.

I'll be right back.

That is a fox.

I'm 90% sure it's a Russian Silver Fox, which they are actually domesticating right now.

Fun fact: The more domesticated the foxes become, the more doglike they are becoming. The foxes hold their tails up like dogs, and are developing un-foxlike markings and patterns (like patches/spots, white paws, face stripes, "mantles",) that are not naturally found in foxes, and also they are barking instead of making foxy sounds. None of these foxes are ever around dogs, only other foxes.

EVOLUTION.
