The introduction thread seemed derailed so I decided to make a new thread.

I hail from the land of Wowhead and I wanted this to be my icon but it's giving me all sorts of weird errors.

My signature is my petty attempt to make a orca fsjal.



Right now I'm bored out of mind so I decided to come here and maybe find a solution. In return I shall give you eternal happiness.

Hello.
To set an avatar, you have to link to an off-site picture. Everything else won't work.
Use this sized-down version of your picture though, the original is a tad too big.

I guess you should have posted in the Introduction thread, though. Most threads here are derailed pretty fast, so that's something to get used to.

Here's also a sized-down version of your signature. I don't mind its current size, but apparently some people do.
I also made it transparent if you're into that sort of thing.

The avatar must be less than 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high

I resized, turned the file into .jpg and many other things but none of them worked.

That's not an official rule. The cap should be around 150, 200 max.

Did you submit it in the box labeled "Link to Off-site Avatar"?

This may seem mean, but lurk more. It's the easiest way to get used to everything.
For starters, though, we have some word filters. I'm not sure which are still in use, but daisies becomes daisies, for example.
