WHY HAS NO ONE DISCUSSED GOOD OL' ABE!? He's the only reason there is still a (complete) America to have an Independance day for! Who can forget how he won the Civil War with his infamous "log cabin" strategy? For those who don't know, what he did was build a log cabin in the middle of the battlefield and went inside it. Then he waited for a Confederate soldier to knock on the door. When the knocks finally came, Abe would open the door AND PUNCH THE GUY SO HARD IN THE FACE THAT HE WOULD GET A CONCUSSION FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
Abe just kind of did this until he won. And that, my friends, is also why we launch fireworks. They remind us of the gigantic impact of Abe Lincoln's colossal punches.
