It more has to do with the fact that the stove is tilted and that I'm terrible about getting these burgers shaped just right. The tilt generally doesn't matter as much for most anything else I have to cook, but with burgers, it's a problem. All of the grease in the pan flows away to the back, so the burgers cook without the grease being there to steam them or keep them from sticking/cooking faster. Tilting the pan so it's flat doesn't work well either, and the flame is always very low when I cook burgers anyways (my mom keeps it at about 3 times what I use, but because she can shape them, they cook fine), so I've been having to work with adjusting. About the only thing that I've found that works is using a lid to trap the heat and force it to focus all of the heat through the burgers, but I still have to figure out the best way to accomplish this, and I'd prefer to find a method that doesn't need this, but I can't seem to get my hands to cooperate, even though I'm capable of baking bread just fine.

Sounds like you've got a real dilemma. From my experience, you really need those juices to cook the meat right, because they help evenly distribute heat throughout the meat. It might be a bit labor-intensive, but you could try spooning the juices that run down to the back of the pan back onto the meat. That might help keep the meat moist and help it cook more evenly.
I mean, all hail the pancake pope!

Every once in a while a man gets the urge to host a game of forum mafia. If I were to do that, would anyone be interested in joining

Get yourself a grill, or you could cut the thickness of the burger in half and make two instead of one. Then stack both halves on the bun and you've got yourself a thin double cheeseburger/regular sized single.

I've decided that the next time my dad barbecues something, I'll try my hand at it.
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.

Well, seasonal is over and no one got kept on. However, I now have $970 to build a computer with, which is plenty. Time to gather up a list of the parts and watch some Youtube videos on constructing the computer.

It usually ends in disaster.

Also, I can't pull off any shenanigans like I did when I was the tailor.

Correction. You tried to pull off shenanigans and I saw through you from the start.

Other people didn't and just jumped on your bandwagon. That's all that matters.
