My mom's name is Denise. Sometimes people spell it 'Denis'. Other times people look at the word 'Denise' and pronounce it 'Dennis'. This happens when we get fast food sometimes.

I was originally going to my mom and dad's last names as my last name. But Mississippi doesn't allow people to have hyphenated last names on their birth certificate (unless you are from out-of-state obviously). My state is dumb.

@Mete, it's my family name that is the problem, although my first name is still difficult comparered to the names most of you ar whining about.
