does anyone here know a lot about insects? Because I found a weird-lookin' bug in my house today and I had no idea what it was. It stayed in one spot all day, too.
It was a white-beige color, had an almond-shaped body and a little pointy nose, and crabby-looking legs. Like, spiny legs. And it was about the size of my thumbnail.
I was gonna get a picture of it but my mom tossed it outside.

No idea. Doesn't sound like a Silverfish since it just sat there all day, unless it was sick.

No, it wasn't a silverfish. I would have flushed one of those buggers down the toilet as soon as I saw it. This thing was kind of thick-looking. My mom thought it was a spider at first until I pointed out it only had six legs.

I live in Washington, US. Pacific Northwest and all. I thought that it might have been a beetle, but there was no carapace or anything and I'm 99% positive it didn't have wings.

Well I thought it was a weevil but so much for that. There's not a lot of insects that don't have wings.
