Woah, you're out early. Most of the schools around here get out around June, or really late May at the earliest.

Our school starts around August 18th. And we don't have teacher in service days.

Would anyone mind terribly if I started a roleplay thread?

I've been dying to give my character Zephiur some quality RP time.

I don't think there's any rules against RP threads.

Fair enough, but it'll be a bit until I figure out what I want the backstory to be.

Just don't rush it. Also, if there are many RP/ adventure threads already opened, it wouldn't hurt your thread to wait a bit first.

I actually kind of style my RP threads after the Gaia tradition of "PM me a character profile and I'll add it to the OP, and once we have enough people we play out a story".

I think the main problem with RP threads is that they usually kind of stop partway through.

I don't think you should have much objection as long as you plan to finish the thing and get people that can relatively commit.

Also, let me know when you're excepting characters.
I loves makin' characters.

I plan to finish everything I start. Sometimes it gets in a lull but eventually I return to it.

It also kinda helps that RP is a thing that I do. Hell, I even commandeered Blitz's Fightan RP for a bit while he was gone.

Only instead of this being 2nd person where you issue orders, it'll be third person limited from each character's perspective as written by each character's player. It's like writing a book together, but you're only writing your character's part of it and any actions/events that pertain to said character.

It'd actually be a bit easier to understand in action so I'll get to writing the OP in a bit.

Didn't you try something like this before?
