Well apostrophes are meant to replace omitted letters. And using them like that is showing dialect, so there shouldn't be a problem, judging on Bacon's original peeve.

I hate that when I call one of my characters an OC, people automatically think it's a fan-character.
Oh well, I'll just go back to drawing my "completely made-up from my head with some outside inspiration from third-party sources but not enough to fully rehash the design of the character" characters.

Just now I was reading a topic on the Penny Arcade forums about Brave, when something weird happened.
I noticed that the users sound exactly like us. Like, the same way of typing. Little to no smilies, sometimes leaving off punctuation and capitalization, and italics scattered about for sarcasm or emphasis.
I know it sounds odd but it was really weird.
