Edit:
I just scanned my computer again to be sure, but I think it's gone and I think I'm safe. My parents, however, will depend on the source of the bugs- if it's just the shady Youtube Downloader or the Photoshop Elements that came with the busted tablet they're fine, but if it was remotely planted on my dad's computer(s) specifically, we are neck-deep in a federal offense.
