I was thinking that the user could just input the votes themselves. Also on somethingawful there's a bot that sets up the vote tallies and scans through posts looking for votes, but they have to be formatted like #lynch Ycobb

Got the final project for my computer class. $1500 budget to build a machine from the ground-up.

I can get some serious overkill with that kind of budget.

So apparently Andrew Hussie's attending the San Diego Comic Con. Y'know, that one convention that bodaciously sold out hours after the last one ended.

I'm seriously doubting this con's going to live any longer. It's reached its critical mass of attendees, and I don't think moving to a new location's going to help.

I meant, it seems all about competition to get tickets. The ones that sleep in tents for two days prior earn them, and the people that come later looking for a fun time wind up empty handed.
Not to mention the countless complaints about late panels, or panels that a person bodaciously could not walk into because of the sheer amount of people there.

Personally, I can't see how something like that could be very fun.

but comic-con just sells tickets online
i didn't actually look into this year, but in the last few years, tickets seemed to sell out around four months prior to the event

It's going to be a strange moment twenty years from now. This site will be long dead, and most of us will never talk to each other again. I won't have any idea what was going on at the time that made it seem normal.
