I know what you mean. There's this obnoxious, smelly nerd who keeps walking into my college's gym and stinking up the place. We finally figured out that the only thing that repels him is terrible dance music. It's rough to deal with it, but we can turn the good music on as soon as he leaves.

So since my dad wants me to be a ~~web engineer~~ the first project I'm going to be working on is an online app to help organize games of forum mafia. I have a few things in mind, but my ideas are pretty basic as it is. Wondering if there is some way to have it automatically edit a specified post with updated vote tallies and things like that.

That sounds pretty useful, Spam. Could it also be applied to something like the Poke-jinka thread where the listing page updates with peoples requests and claims? Or would that be more complicated as it's not a straight forward vote tally.

You'll have some difficulty having it check posts for the vote, since people tend to get silly with it.
You'd be best off setting up a whole new system with a drop down list of people to vote for so that the whole dealie could just check that.
