I don't know why I feel the need to defend that mediocre webcomic, but I kind of got what they were going for. It's kind of like a bro-ish thing where you're like "fuck shirts, yeeaaaaaah". Shit I actually remember doing this on tinychat with a bunch of forumites, I was the only drunk one too.
