I may not have particularly cared much about the Super Bowl game, but even I had to laugh at that final touchdown/taunt.

It was silly as all hell, but it wasn't a taunt. He tried to stop and go down at the 1 yard line, but a combination of momentum and not giving a fuck made him go in. Could have run the clock down and got 3 to win right as time expired, but instead gave Brady 1 minute to try and score, which isn't a good idea at all because as even with as much shit as I give him, he is still a top tier QB.

Also, I went on /a/ after the big game and saw this. Lilly and Eli forever.

The more I think about it, the more I think this quest needs another encounter or two. I just can't think of anything to add, it's complete as is. I've altered the main antagonist so he's not so much evil as he is power-hungry. Hopefully the party won't be overly compelled to murder him, I have plans for him.

The best thing about Superbowl is that I sleep through it all.

Token evil teammate?

If so, you're going for all of the cliches.

Token evil teammate will have to be up to the players. I'd really rather they played above neutral, but I'm going to try not to be a tyrant.

Put something to collect throughout the quest like Skulltula Tokens. If they pay attention throughout the quest and are thorough they'll get some extra loot.

To spare his life if it seems in danger you can have the authorities arrive just before the act. Works best if you establish him as Chaotic Good or something similar so that to kill him would be to commit a crime after he's incapacitated. Someone wants to do it anyway, they're doing a deliberately Evil act and will have an entire town after them.

As explanation you can say that it's not just the adventurers who have been piecing together what's been going on.

Well I don't want him arrested either, I don't want him ANYTHING other than alive and still in power. I've made it so there will be no evidence of his wrong-doing, so if the players insist on killing this guy they'll be outlaws. I like Omnithea's idea.
