The vacuum cleaner wouldn't start up for any reason. Dad and I pulled the cover off, checked over the machinery, still couldn't pinpoint the cause. We close it up and try again. Nothing. I open-palm hit it and the machine comes to life.
Nice to know the old repair methods still work.

The same thing happens with the printer where I work.
It always comes up with an error, but if you just open and close the cover, it'll start working long enough to print something before it starts bugging out again.
