There's nothing wrong with Dr. Seuss. There is something VERY wrong with a college professor lauding him as a literary genius.

Even if you're English teacher, you can like something poorly written. Anybody can like anything they please, that doesn't mean it's good. If a giant monster liked Catherine, would that mean it's accurate? If a music teacher liked Guitar Hero, would that mean it's instrument simulation is godly?

I'm not saying it's poorly written, I'm saying your point here is weak.
