Fragments are some of the more questionable tenets of grammar. They can work sometimes but not others, and there's no real hard rule to them.

That's not how it works in the grammar nazis. We even enforce the stupid preposition rule.

The only contention I've heard about hominids in Europe is the recent studies that suggest that Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons interbred and resulted in Europeans rather than the older idea that Cro-Magnons killed all of the Neanderthals, since we've found Neanderthal DNA in the genome and it had to come from somewhere.

My favourite sharks are Great Whites, Hammerheads, Basking and Goblin.

I love all sharks but those are my top favourites.
