Artifact creatures for the win. Nothing beats a robot army that knows no fear.

Artifact creatures are robots. Most artifact creatures, are colorless, so they don't require any specific land (but other cards in artifact decks usually require blue, since it's the color of magic and intelligence). The Fear effect that some creatures have is also null against artifact creatures, since they are emotionless.

My totes fav deck is a blue/artifact deck.

There are also creatures called Slivers. They're their own creature type. Each Sliver has a specific ability, and due to psionic hive-minds link between them all, each Sliver card on the field has every other Sliver's ability.
