I don't know whether to post this in the art thread or not, so I'll post it here.
How useful and reliable is Paint.NET? How well does it work? I'm taking art classes, and I need a program to resize and mess with images in general.

So for exercise I've been playing five or six rounds of DDR three times a week or more since my exercise class ended. Theres this one guy though who is one of those people who just seems to be able to levitate to manage to get his feet moving that fast.

Oh God he makes me nervous watching me I'm not even half as good as he is.

College starts at the end of September. I have a six hour oil painting class on Saturdays. I'm not totally sure if it'll be worth it to spend six hours of my weekend at a class.

Oh my gosh yes it is. It gives you enough time to really get into the painting, and it is sooooo nice. Painting on canvas is so much more satisfying than painting on a computer.Just be warned, you don't get quite the consistency of blending like you do on a computer. (I don't know your experience with painting).

Haha, I'm more comfortable with real painting than digital. I'm still learning the basics of Photoshop.
That being said, my experience with paint is quite limited, so it'll be interesting to see how this works out.

Don't even try to measure yourself to those people. I knew someone who regularly went to arcades and did the lightning jig on DDR. Went so fast he needed to hold the bar behind him so he didn't go careening off the platform.
