False. They don't have quotas. As my teacher said, "We never had quotas. I could write as many tickets as I wanted." And if people were polite to him, with a good explanation, they got off with warnings. Highway Patrol is still a good job though. Nice pay and great benefits. Just gotta be careful when you pull someone over, because you have no idea who is sitting behind that wheel or how dangerous they are.
