Dammit California if you are going to pave a freeway, particularly the main one running from NorCal to SoCal can you please start from one end and work your way down instead of randomly working on bits from Fairfield all the way down to Bakersfield? That way there is one bottleneck instead of fifteen fucking occasions where it's rush hour speed at one in the afternoon.

So a five and a half hour drive turned into a seven hour one. And for some reason I was unable to sleep.

For some reason, a bunch'a shitheads decided to have several routes leading in and out of downtown Houston under renovation at the same fuckin' time. It sucked booty havin' to go around in circles three times before sayin' "fuck it" and openin' a GPS phone app.

Back from a brief, unannounced and most likely unnoticed hiatus. We're having the kitchen completely redone by the end of this month, so my stepdad (who's a builder) pretty much tore it to pieces and started to rebuild parts of it in preparation and sorted out the plumbing and whatnot. My brother and I had to spend 2 weeks helping out as labourers, which meant waking up at 7 am and finishing at 7 pm (9 pm in some cases), which wasn't fun. x_o As a result my internet time was cut short and the time that I did have was usually spent catching up on things on other sites and doing stuff on Tumblr. Soooo glad that's all over now. Hope I didn't miss too much. :U

But two fucking hours in CUSTOMS. AUGHFNVEFLNF I almost started crying because I thought he wasn't coming and that he had ditched me. That would have sucked.
