Oh please; Each state pretty much has its own stereotype.

Either obesity or stupidity I'd say for Americans (Not that this is true). I mean, we were recently watching 'Supersize Me' in which this man eats Mcdonalds each day for a month and they interviewed people and they were like "Yeah, I believe Mcdonalds is healthy", oh and then we heard stories of how people tried to sue the fastfood restaurants for making them fat :/

Anyways I'm back from Wales with the D of E, and oh my word the weather was terrible, it was nice that I spoke to people I wouldn't normally but even still, some times it was just terible.

Texans: Raw meat eatin' propane-suckin' gun-totin' redneck yeehaws.

Californians: OJ-drinkin' beach-surfin' sun-bathin' lackadaisical bums.

Southerners: Swamp-livin' gator-kissin' state-benefit-stealin' Cajuns.

I'm not trying to offend anybody intentionally, btw.

I could think of some more, maybe.

I thought New Jersey had a lot of stereotypes surrounding it as well?

I've yet to see this movie but everything I heard about it is so saaaaad.

I remember when ten exchange students from around the world came into my spanish class for questions. I asked them what their stereotypes for America were and there was a supper uproar of them telling us all these tons of stereotypes about us.

It was funny how quiet it was before I asked that question then suddenly WHOA STEREOTYPES ERRYWHERE.

Fat, stupid and being gun toting cowboys with violence on the streets all the time was a reoccurring one.

British stereotypes are kinda funny too btw, but I don't take offence to them.

And very obnoxious tourists I think.

Although obnoxious tourist is kind of redundant.

For me it depends - occasionally I hear things about scousers (Liverpudlians to everyone else). I don't hear it because I don't have a scouse accent but I've heard all sorts, and yeah sometimes it's offensive but it's not really common enough for me to care.
