Guys, I need help.

What's a good engine for a sprite-based RPG? It doesn't need to be free, in fact I think I'd rather it isn't so I can charge for it.

Yes, but we're using right now is a mod for game maker and it pretty much sucks. I don't know if it's just the mod or what, but it's pretty daisies inflexible.

I asked if we could do it in Flash but my programmer shot me down immediately, so that's out of the question.

Also my programmer hates RPG maker. Hates it.
