Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
So I'm sitting here, working on some stuff, when I suddenly hear very eerie window noises. I look around, nothing there. After a short bit, I hear them again, albeit a bit more feintly. Decided to peek forward at the balcony door - when I suddenly see a crow flapping and flailing against the door, trying to get in.
I didn't know what the hell to do, if I should call a vet or who actually, but decided to go out to the crow first. It appeared rather normal, it wasn't afraid of me, just trying to keep it's distance though. When I tried to grab it, it was startled that I made this sudden movement, flapped a bit with it's wings and screeched.
Was talking with dirges at that time, and she told me to get a towel to catch it. Looked up vet numbers in the meanwhile, because it seemed that it was injured, seeing as it didn't wanted to fly away (my balcony is really, really small). While looking up numbers, I heard and saw that it was jumping against the window again, still trying to get in. Well, went to grab a towel, went back to the balcony door - and saw that it jumped on the grind thanks for a conveniently placed chair. I opened the door, and then suddenly two other crows appeared, screeching loudly and landing very very close to me on the tree which was outside. Decided to get in again before I get teared into pieces. Waited a few seconds, opened the door again - and then the crow flew away. So apparently it wasn't injured at all??
I absolutely have no clue how it ended up on my balcony (seeing as it's base level), and why it didn't fly away; and most of all: why did it wanted to get into my house so badly? There isn't anything shiny or anything else which could've catched it's attention.
Dirges joked that it's like the Ghibli movie 'The Cat returns', but only with crows and that they are slightly less honorable and kind of like mobsters, and the crow on my balcony was the prince of crows. Or another way round, that the other crows were assassins and the one trying to get in was trying to get away from them. But man, that would be too awesome for something like this to actually happen haha.
tl;dr There was a crow on my balcony which behaved rather weird and tried to get into my house.

That may be so, but we know it better as choo-choo neck. Old joke, don't ask...hm, does anyone have that picture Trygve made of the train coming out of Alucard's neck??
