I have a problem.

Mom keeps bugging me about sending an e-mail to my Icelandic teacher to see if I can't do something to increase my grade.

The thing is, I haven't done a single assignment in that class. I was never able to understand what she meant and she never gave enough explanation on what we were supposed to do. It continued that way until I just stopped caring. I lost all my motivation in the class.

So I really doubt sending an e-mail will do anything at all but I know mom will get annoying if I don't send an e-mail. So what should I do?

Just send an e-mail. If it does something, cool. If it doesn't do anything then whatever.

I had a situation kinda like that with an online course I was taking, back before we had Internet at home. I bodaciously had to walk to the library down the road to take the stupid class. And I actually called the prof (most likely creeping the shit out of her, in retrospect) pleading my case for a better grade.

And now I don't even remember if I passed or not. All I know is I use the ID card I got to open locked doors now.

Realized today at work that I suck as a leader or at doing things on my own because I am constantly terrified that I am doing something wrong.

I slept from about 12 midday yesterday to about 7 am this morning - minus a few hours where I got up to eat.

So that's about 16 hours sleep.

I think I needed it though.
