I have now learned that I am not the weirdest person in my school. My life has changed, and I question it now.

Yeah I looked it up before trying anything. I just used them to eat dinner and it wasn't too painful. I'm just irredeemably awful at anything that involves dexterity. The chopsticks keep slipping through my fingers and I have to put them back every five seconds. Sometimes I manage to get a perfect grip but I have no consistency.
My skin has gotten super sensitive since I never do any manual work so just using chopsticks starts hurting after a minute.

Why is it always horribly depressing switching from something old to something new

Do any of the regulars here have, like, a Discord server or something? I wouldn't mind having more people to chat to regularly.

AFAIK people either drifted away from here or broke off into their own little groups. occasionally someone will remember the forum because people turn back up in batches.

I have bodaciously nothing better to do than maintain my position as king forum.

I ate with chopsticks for the second time today and I got so much better, I'm impressed. I finally figured out a way to hold them steadily and use them more or less efficiently and I was able to eat rice even though it wasn't particularly sticky. Yay progress.

Just so its known, there really isn't an AZ group chat anymore as far as I know. There used to be but Skype was such hot garbage a lot of people drifted, most made smaller not broken skype chats or went onto discord, etc. There might be something made with current users but I'm not aware of it.

Oh dear lord I am intimately familiar with how much Skype sucks as a program. Pretty much forced to use it since I've been in a long distance relationship. I'd have made the switch to Discord 110% but I need Skype for the sake of video calls.
