i have to take baby level math in college to start out since i'm monumentally shit at algebra, and so far I'm relieved that most difficult part of the course so far is just the wording on the questions, the actual problems are easy

that said, its integers and shit and there were people struggling and it makes me wonder how they all fuckin' handle having a bank account since thats using integers. I honestly should have done this at the beginning and not at the last few semesters before I graduate, I felt like an adult in kindergarten when the professor was asking "first or second semester?" when we were introducing ourselves and I'm like "s....second year?"

Had a dream that was so sad that I woke up and my chest felt like I had been crying for hours. Now I can't even remember the dream at all. Weird.

Was it the "why don't mirrors flip things vertically" question people have been asking, lately?

So, AZ, I'm honestly pretty confused. I filed my taxes and was given the option to check my credit score afterward. I did so, and it says that I had a home loan taken out in 2012, and an auto loan taken out in 2014. I was under the age of 18 during both of those years. The locations for the loans were both places that my father has lived. I think my dad must've taken loans out in my name and I'm honestly confused as to what to do about it. It says they're paid off and my credit is decent, but what the everliving fuck. How could he have even accomplished that?!?!

Sometimes parents use their kids' SSN to take out loans or credit cards, and if they're minors they lie about the age or something.

A lot of kids recently have looked back and seen this happen to them.

Yea, I assumed that's what happened. I'm confused how to feel about it. He's not even my real father, just my father figure. I'm going to give him a call on my day off.

i mean it's identity theft so you should probably be kinda mad about it even if it went fine and your credit wasn't affected. not sure what you can do about it that doesn't cost a shitload of cheddar, but it's not okay and needs to be confronted anyway i guess. if he isn't even your real father that's like 300x worse.

Someone called in a bomb threat at my high school.

Edit: to clarify I don't really have the full details but the fire alarm went off while I was in geometry and we all went the elementary school behind our high school. Don't know if it was actually a bomb but my teacher says they found a suspicious object in the bathroom so they pulled the alarm.

Got everything figured out. No loans were in my name, I'm just extremely stupid. It asked something like "Our records indicate that you have a home loan from 2012. Please choose from where this loan is from." And it gave a list of places, one of which was the town my dad lives in. Turns out that's just a security question and the correct answer was none of the above/does not apply to me. I just got extremely paranoid. Still think it's a stupid security question though, could've been worded a lot better. After actually checking my credit report though, the only things listed on it are my school loans. I feel so stupid though.

Good news, the guy who called in the bomb threat was arrested. There was actually a bomb but it wasn't active thank god.

EDIT: scratch the "actually a bomb" part. It was a hoax device.
