I got this little guy/girl a week ago. An adorable crested gecko. It seems to be doing alright so far, and looks to be around a few months old.
I was able to get a better pic after I cleaned its cage today.

Mere moments after this photo. It took a shit that almost landed in its food bowl.

What a graceful beast.

I love reptiles.
Geckos always seem to be the most adorable types.

Also love that picture with their head poking out of the leaves.

I keep telling myself that I'd love to have a reptile pet, most likely a Leopard Gecko for me.
Though I feel I'm not ready to take care of a pet at the moment, but I'd definitely like to get one some day.

Obligatory yearly fishing trip record. Don't worry, there's not much.

This is what the skies looked like heading out in the morning. Mom posted it to her Facebook with the caption "It's raining but not on us lol." Ten minutes later, we were completely drenched.

Let me tell you, though, it is actually super fun to fish in the rain. I can't explain why, it was just so exhilarating.

Final tally, Captain Eddie kneeling. The monster snapper in the upper center was hauled up by Grandpa. I'm pretty sure he caught about 4 more as well. Stepdad almost got a Spanish mackerel but it fell off the hook before we could get it aboard. Grandma and Grandpa each pulled in a bonita from the troll lines.

Here's the mackerel I pulled in on the troll line. Not quite as impressive as last year's. I also caught two reds worth keeping, and a black as well. Also reeled in a vermilion snapper but it wasn't big enough to keep. Here's last year's mackerel for comparison.

Let me tell you, though, it is actually super fun to fish in the rain. I can't explain why, it was just so exhilarating.

There is something exciting about being out at sea in bad weather, makes you feel like you're at war with the elements or something. I always loved surfing during storms.
