That would require something better than an iHome.Ame no Akai wrote:Full-on metal counteroffensive. Now.Shoolis wrote:Hey I like rap so much that I'm going to play it as loud as possible so EVERYONE ON MY FLOOR WILL LIKE IT!
No shut the fuck up.
And something more metal than two track of All That Remains and the complete music library of Dragonforce.
And Psychostick.

Fuck some of my co-workers.
They lie right to my face and tell me they have to go visit their father, whom their mother divorced, and is living with his mother on a reserve. (This co-worker is native, yes.) But they can't because no one can cover their Friday shift. So I of course offer to because who the fuck wouldn't?
Overjoyed, they pull out their phone, dial a number, and go to the back to talk to the manager about me taking over. Then later tell me it's all good today.
Except that's not true at all, because when I randomly asked if Friday was still on today after finding out me taking over someone else's Saturday shift caused a huge problem (which I will get to), the manager looked at me totally confused and said "Whose Friday shift are you taking?"
"_____'s, why?"
"... When did she call you and ask you to do it?"
"She didn't even call me, she asked me on Sunday or Monday."
"WE TOLD HER LAST WEEK SHE WASN'T ALLOWED TO MOOCH HER FRIDAY SHIFT OFF TO ANYONE ANYMORE SO SHE COULD GO PARTY AND DRINK!"
"... She didn't call you?"
"No!"
"... She pulled out her phone right in front of me, and actually pretended to call you and everything. (Internally thinking: Just so she could go party after telling me it was for her dad... *RAGE*)"
"*obvious outer RAGE*"
And as for Saturday, she mooched it off on me just to go partying and get high too. That girl got fired, so these are her last two weeks now. I don't know if the other girl is gonna get fired but, probably, yeah, after pulling a stunt like that.
So at least I don't work Friday now, I guess...

Almost all of their "old timers" staff are either dicks, or don't want to/know how to do their job. x:
A LOT of them have left, or been fired. We're taking on A LOT of new people. I think it was last week or the week before that one, originally they were like "lol no shifts for you, we need to train other newbs" and then I ended up working four days, and they tried to get me to work RUCKY Day, because either more oldies quit or new people didn't show up/couldn't do it (and might have been fired or warned).
The only person I want to see go is the asshole chef who ALWAYS seems to be glaring at me, yells "ORDER UP" like he's having an anuerism each time, and freaks out on me if I start to bag stuff before the order is done and stuff is piling up because he can't keep track of it if I take it away.
Well gee sorry for trying to make both of our jobs easier. You could always just ask me what I've bagged because I'm standing right there but no, freaking out and making me put it all back is totally the way to go.
