I hate how guilty I feel when I forget to put my laundry in the dryer for a while and then I remember and go down to the basement to put it in, but then I feel super guilty because it's like 10PM and what if my roommates who live in the basement want to sleep or something THE DRYER MAKES SO MUCH NOISE AUGH BUT I NEED MY JEANS DRY GODDAMMIT

Happened all the time in high school. Even I was like "Hey, I could do that if another girl helped. Why do two guys always have to carry/push/pull it?"

Women who refuse to help with heavy lifting, perform vehicle maintenance or generally get their hands dirty piss me off.

Men who refuse to learn to cook, sew or do housework piss me off.

Remind me again why I'm the one who's considered old again? I mean, aside from that just about everyone nowadays cooks and does their own housework... sewing? Sewing hasn't been a necessary task in the last several decades now, thanks to clothes becoming dirt-cheap!

Are you implying you should just buy new clothes when your old ones get damaged (talkin' rips, not torn to shreds)? Or are you saying sewing would be pointless because clothes are so cheaply made they'd rip more often than you could sew?

I made an awesome green tunic last year and this cool sleeveless black shirt with a mandarin collar and a red lining.

I'm thinking about trying to make another tunic since my older one is a little tight around the arms (I'm still a novice, so meh).

On the topic of sewing though, THE MANDARIN COLLARS. Ugh. So much trouble. They make me angry.

Sewing is something that's very useful to know.

I love sewing but I'm bad at it. I really want to practice more.

I can sew, but I'm really horrible at it. I mean really horrible.

I can sew rips and tears. Patches are painfully obvious though so unless the hole is in a really noticeable spot or the clothing is something like a jacket or hat, I just ignore them.

Oh yeah, and buttons. I reattach those... well, if I have a button to reattach to the fabric.

I'm alright at sewing I guess. I mean, I did some things in secondary school (Mandatory) which was alright, I did a pretty neat job making a hat.

But my clothes never break. When I'm at home, I'm in my pajamas at all times.

Pajamas are fine unless the fabric is about as strong as a piece of tissue paper.
